Safeguarding Children, Young People
and Adults Levels 1, 2 and 3
For nearly 30 years Space Training has provided training to people working in health, social care and education. Our safeguarding programmes help you to contribute to safer environments where the risk of abuse is reduced, staff are aware of their rights and responsibilities and people are more likely to speak up should they see, hear or hear about something that causes them concern.
We will work with you to:
All of our safeguarding programmes meet the requirements and standards set by the GDC, BDA, CQC, Ofsted, Skills for Care and the Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF).
We offer three safeguarding programmes, each using sector-relevant examples and case studies:
Level 1 - A two hour session for roles which involve no contact with people who access your services
Level 2 - A four hour session for people with direct contact with people who access your services
Level 3 - A five hour session for people with a specific role in safeguarding, named or designated professionals.
Each of these programmes can run concurrently, with the whole team trained in five hours; all staff attend the first two hours, those requiring level two and above remaining for the next two hours and only those requiring level three remaining for the last hour. The programme can also be split over a number of days in order to make it easier to release staff to attend.
If you would like to discuss your requirements please contact us on 0800 772 0373 or email [email protected]
We will work with you to:
- Plan your programme, using delivery methods that enable you to reach all of your team
- Ensure that the training fits with your organisations policies and procedures
- Specify clear learning outcomes so you know exactly what participants will come away from the session with.
- Evaluate all training from the perspective of both the attendees and the trainer, so you know that all attendees participated and took from the session what you intended.
- Recognise, embrace and value the diversity and needs of all participants. We will adapt to the needs of all attendees.
